"Wilderness" is the latest EP from Columbus, Ohio based, Man On Foot. This piece of music takes you on a simple journey through a myriad of ideas about manhood, the struggles and disappointments of modern living, and the quest for self actualization in a mythical wanderlust for the great beyond. You can hear the echoes of the greats like Jackson Browne, Warren Zevon, Bob Dylan, and Johnny Cash, as these early troubadours pioneered the sounds and thoughts of classic and modern folk rock. While carving out a niche in the current music scene, Man On Foot continues to write and synthesize ideas about humanity and the ever-changing evolution of personal and collective life.
Also, BIG THANKS to Mike Landolt for helping to produce and mix this record, to Brandon Bankes for the beautiful pedal steel guitar on Walk On, to Aaron Sturgil for the brilliant stings on The Wilderness, to my brother Kyle Williams for taking the cover pictures (and drawing the back cover art, which will be on the hard copies), and to Bryan Devila for design and layout for the cover art. You guys are talented and a treat work with.
